It’s more intriguing considering we evaluated another game that’s essentially a rip-off of the Thor game around the same time, Legend of Heroes Megaways. Pragmatic Play appears to have found a winning recipe. Players who liked the gameplay presented by Power of Thor Megaways or Legend of Heroes Megaways will find a lot to like in this third installment.
The atmosphere of football has nothing in common with those of stories about Norse gods and heroes. Without Thor’s inherent heaviness, the game now has the ethereal lightness of football meets electronica. The gameplay is the same, and the promise of free spins with a high win multiplier and the chance to score Big Wilds is still appealing. Removal of the extra purchase feature, like in Legend of Heroes Megaways, might dampen interest, especially if generating free spins organically becomes difficult. Free spins occurred once every 510 spins in the Thor version, and presumably the same is true here. Last but not least, the potential has stayed stable over all three iterations, sitting at a reasonable but somewhat mediocre 5,000x the bet for Megaways.
